Well, just to get some discussion going…

What will the website be used for?

  • Announcing new releases of the game
  • Posting screenshots of the game (pre-release)
  • Offering the game for download
  • For users to request features? (via forum)
  • For users to get help and support? (via forum)

Anything else..?

Are you interested in building the website?

Note that on the homepage - under the section titled "Thursday, October 7, 2010" - it says this:

We're in the process of modifying the game, changing the name, and website. The new site, Pokemon Clear Essence will be up soon. :D

It seems he probably needs help building the website. I don't want to get too involved as I'm busy with other projects at the moment - but I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about the wikidot syntax, or you can ask on

Have the full game. It is amazing :P Can't stop playing it!

Yeah, I figured…but I'm hoping maybe I can restore the data somehow…ugh - time to do more research.

Nothing is going right - I was about 80% done with Pewter City (which meant the first alpha) of course, and then boom I get a muthaf*cking virus from Facebook. F*ck you Facebook - my hard drive is f*cked, and now I need to restart the game probably.

… that's what backing up is for ;-)

OH, and it's a "multiplayer beta" for Halo: Reach. I think there's 4 maps, and a handful of game modes… the single player campaign, the vast majority of multiplayer maps, and all new vehicles are excluded from the beta so that there's still a reason to buy the game later.

There's a few bugs, but nothing major. I think the main reasons were (a) find out what parts people hated, e.g. best camping spots, or gun combinations, and to add steps to make the gameplay more fair (b) a stress-test on the servers… as they expect upwards of 2-3 million unique players to try the beta. So far I think they've had 1.2 million after a week last I checked.

Full game comes out in "Fall 2010" , so December-ish.

LOL. How could you not like the Xbox 360? :)

PS3 has great graphics for PS3-exclusive games… things like God of War, that can take full advantage of it. The Blu-Ray player also appeals to some people.

When it comes to multiplayer gaming though, Xbox 360 is king. No doubt about it. It's not the graphics that counts, but how much fun you have when playing a game, and how quickly you can do things e.g. sending invites, joining other people's games, etc. And the Achievement system is far better integrated into the console than the Trophy system is on the PS3. Having to manually open the menu, and scroll down to the trophies option, is a pain.

But, we are getting off topic :)

Oh cool, demo right or is it the full thing now? Let me know how awesome it is. Always liked Halo just not the Xbox they make it for. :/

I can wait ;-) got Halo: Reach to play at the moment anyway… that'll take up my time.

Re: Programming language by leigerleiger, 06 May 2010 22:37

Well for now, your one of my only fans. I could give you a choice… would you like me to wait for my original release, or just release what I have now as a REALLY early alpha, so you can start training. ;)

Also, I'm working on the Extras Section, which includes some Dev stuff - if you should want to make your own game.

Hehehe ;-)

Well, I for one am definitely interested in seeing a playable beta test of this, to see what you've done so far. Screenshots, and even videos, don't do a game justice most of the time.

Re: Programming language by leigerleiger, 04 May 2010 10:36

I have fairly good control with it - considering I can edit the scripts at my leisure, and I also have a couple of scripters working for me. Which reminds me…I should be working right now..
